A note from the mom of a baby in the NICU at University Medical Center Princeton/Plainsboro:

Thank you so much! My baby is currently in the NICU at Princeton hospital and has received a beautiful pink crocheted blanket from your group. She also has several hats - I guess they are also from you? My favorite is a tiny lavender one done in a seed stitch. It is so hard to have a baby in the NICU, but it warms my heart to think of all the love and effort your volunteers put into each piece. She's so tiny and has so many monitors and things; it's wonderful that she also has something cuddly. As a knitter myself, it makes me so happy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Bob's Blankie Brigade is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to provide love, comfort and new beginnings through handmade blankets and related items to people who are seriously ill or in need and opportunities for big-hearted knitters, crocheters, fleecers and quilters.  We rely on volunteers and the generosity of individual and businesses supporting these handicrafts.

We have volunteers in 16 states and hope you will add your state to the following list: Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
